Janette and Richard’s big day was about as close to Downton Abbey as it gets! They had selected the exclusive Merchant Ventures Hall in Clifton, Bristol to host their wedding ceremony and celebration. This venue is stunning and the perfect place to for some Clifton wedding photography.
Friday the 4th of February was the start of a busy month of Somerset wedding photography for me and also the beautiful wedding of Shelley and Robert. Continue reading
Once again, I have spent the New Year 2015 shooting the Steam Punk Circus Ball at The Tobacco Factory in Southville. The theatre people at the Tobacco Factory did a fantastic job in creating a brilliant background for the Steam Punk Circus Ball themed Photobooth, so many thanks and well done to them. It was certainly an interesting night and a great way to see in the New Year.

ASHTON COURT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Becky and Matt selected one of my favourite wedding photography venues in Bristol for their September wedding. Ashton Court Mansion is situated on the edge of the Ashton Court Estate in south Bristol and provides an easily accessible wedding venue within a huge landscaped estate. Ashton Court wedding photography options are vast, with sweeping lawns, mature trees, ponds and a rose garden. A particular favourite area for wedding photography in Bristol is the paved column of trees at the rear of the Mansion house. Another massive benefit of Ashton Court Mansion is that it is just up the road from my studio in Southville! Continue reading
Theresa and Matthew’s big day was an unusual wedding photography shoot for me because they were already married! A few weeks previously, Theresa and Matthew were joined by their close family for a wedding in the Philippines. They then decided to have a big garden party back in Clifton in Bristol for all of the family and friends who were unable to make it. Continue reading
I usually shoot several weddings at Tracy Park each year and it has become one of my favourite venues to work at. The stunning Jacobean manor house offers a wonderful backdrop for wedding photography in Bristol, while the mature trees and beautiful lawns are just perfect for wedding group photographs.
In the middle of May, the sun decided to come out… Just in time for Clare and Tom’s Bristol wedding! My wedding photography shoot started quite early this time at Clare’s parents house in Ashton, just a few hundred meters away from my studio in Southville. As usual, I started with the Bridal preparations as Clare and her Bridesmaids’ got ready and shot all the tiny details on the shoes and wedding dress.
Saturday the 2nd of May saw the start of the very busy Bristol wedding photography season and what a busy day it was!
April showers? Not a chance! April the 11th had me driving down to Brent Knoll in Somerset (yet again…!) for the beautiful outdoor wedding of Helen and David. Continue reading
